Haar reactie daarop is:
"No , they were never re-fed what was making them significantly ill – we do not consider such challenge of sentient beings as being ethically acceptable. We do not participate in this type of potentially induced harm".
Ik heb haar vervolgens geconfronteerd met deze uitspraak van Plantinga "the general scientific consensus is that food sensitive reactions (including both food intolerance and food allergy) cannot be predicted by measuring antibody titer in any capacity (IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE) and any body fluids". Haar reactie daarop is:
"That’s because it was never done before with an unique saliva-based patented test like Nutriscan".
"Not so, the current literature no longer relies on this method – too many confounding variables".
Ik heb Dr. Dodds een stukje vertaalde tekst gegeven van Planting: "That a dog shows fewer problems based on such a test and not feeding the foods that have been tested for does not show that the test is effective. After all, if you put a dog on a hypoallergenic diet it words too in 95% of the cases but putting a dog on a hypoallergenic diet is not diagnostic tool. Even if you swap in healthy dogs, you will find IgA and IgG in the saliva, but these dogs show no problems. In other words, there is no causality between having antibodies in your saliva and having health problems".
Daarop reageert Dr. Dodds met "it’s the levels of these food ingredient -specific antibodies that’s involved, not the presence of IgA or IgM or both in saliva the issue".
En last but not least schrijft Dr. Dodds: "we have more than 22,000 tests in dogs with our methodology which has no doubt had a huge beneficial impact upon their health not just of their bowel but of their overall well-being".
