Carrots:
A root vegetable rich in vitamins and minerals(when properly grown by organic methods) they make ansexcelent supplement for the canine cereal feed and ar blood cleansing and worm removing.
Prepare as adviced for the other root vegetables (cooked and mashed) Also feed a little raw,very finely grated,That way carrots are likely to expel worms.
Carrots aid formation of good tooth enamel,and are a good eye tonic.
Scrub carrots very well,sprinkle with salt, keep salted for several hours, then rinse very well.
This preparation is a precaution against paraste flukes which can attack the liver and kill the host animal.
