Beetje rare vraag op dit forum, speciaal voor Lizzy.
Die spray(tea tree met diverse olieën erdoor) werkt die toevallig ook om vliegen bij paarden te weren?
Mijn dochter heeft een ijslander die zomerexceem krijgt door bepaalde muggen. Ze is voortdurend op zoek naar middeltjes die tegen muggen werken.

Bedoel je niet de horzels die veelvuldig in de bossen voorkomen? Daar krijgen ze die bulten van. Wij deden wel verdunde azijn op de vacht voor een bosrit .

Geen Lizzy hier,maar ik denk dat 't best voor paarden gebruikt kan worden...hier nog 'n paar:

All Natural Homemade Insect Repellent
Place the following ingredients into a large glass container.

Plastic can be used, but the odours of the lemon and Rosemary will be permanently infused into the plastic.

One fat juicy lemon with a heavy rind sliced paper thin.
One Tablespoon of crushed Rosemary sprinkled over the lemon slices.
Pour 32 ounces of near-boiling water over the lemon and Rosemary.
Cover with a clean cloth and let the liquid "steep" for at least 15 hours.
After the "steeping" time, pour the liquid through cheesecloth into a clean quart size canning jar, cover and store in the refrigerator.

Transfer 4 - 6 ounces at a time into a spray bottle with a fine mist applicator.

Spray liberally over skin and coats.

Avoid contact with the eyes.

Repeat the application as frequently as required.
