"The only part of tripe I'm saying is useless to a dog is the enzymes, which are largely destroyed upon exposure to oxygen, and the probiotics, which are incompatible with a carnivore's digestive tract. Freezing has an affect on what probiotics were originally present, but I'm not saying freezing renders them useless on its own - what I meant was they're not compatible with a dog to begin with. Does that make more sense? I hope so. I didn't explain well the other day and I didn't go into detail as I replied when I was out, that's my fault. I hope this was a bit clearer"
Antwoord:
"It depends on what probiotic you're buying but yes, powdered/capsule forms are different strains. Same goes for digestive enzymes, there's porcine pancreatic enzymes available and they tend to be the most common, then there's aspergillus and/or bromelain based veggie enzymes which can be a cause of allergies and further GI upset in some dogs."
